Welcome to the Fertig Christian Trust Foundation

Honoring Faith. Empowering Education. Protecting the Vulnerable.

At the heart of our mission lies a deep commitment to Christian values, educational excellence, and the protection of children and the elderly. Founded in memory of Miriam A. Fertig, a devoted educator and champion of bilingual and Hispanic youth, our Foundation serves as a beacon of hope for deserving American students and vulnerable members of our society.

About Us
We are a Florida-registered Christian nonprofit created to honor the legacy of Miriam A. Fertig. Our mission is to fund Christian education for U.S. students and support vulnerable children and elders through faith-based advocacy.

Our Vision
We plan to expand our support to Christian universities, pro-life initiatives, and nationwide reform of child and elder care systems.

Our Scholarship Criteria

We proudly fund Christian students who meet the following five core requirements:
Applicants must come from actively practicing Christian families. Preference is given to homes where Christian values are nurtured through charity, service, and faith-based living.
Students must be U.S. citizens or in the final stages of legal residency through green card programs. Qualified DARPA students may also be considered.

We primarily support private and faith-based high school education. Students must maintain a B+ average to continue receiving support. In select cases, we extend funding into college for high-achieving scholars.

We personally vet each school we fund, with annual site visits to ensure academic excellence and sound Christian theology. While we favor Traditional Catholicism, we welcome applicants from mainstream Christian denominations, including Anglican, Orthodox, Baptist, and Lutheran schools.

We cannot fund students with serious criminal records. Honesty, respect, and a clean history are essential.

Our Commitment

  • We operate with extremely low overhead (under 5%), directing 95% of all contributions to scholarships.
  • Our work is largely supported by unpaid volunteers, maximizing the impact of every donation.
  • We welcome additional tax-free funding partners who share our mission and values. (Registered as Florida Not For Profit Corp. No. N21000010739 – FEI/EIN No. 87-2707086)

    Guardian Advocate Program

Every year, millions of children face abuse and neglect. Our Guardian Advocate Program supports volunteer guardians, promotes awareness, and educates the public on child and elder safety.
